Qatar Nebras Electricity $ 800 million investment in Indonesia Gas Power Station

On October 23, Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arcandra Tahar said Qatar Nebras Electric had agreed to invest $ 1 billion in a gas-fired power station in Sumatra and related floating infrastructure for liquefied natural gas.

 A total investment of about 800 million US dollars for gas power plants, the remaining 200 million US dollars for a floating storage gasification device.

Tahar added that the domestic mining of natural gas will give priority to the supply of gas power plants, but if necessary, will import natural gas, the highest import price limit for the Indonesian crude oil prices 14%.
