Latin America's largest transmission line was put into operation

Recently, the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy announced that the largest transmission line in Latin America in operation in Brazil, a total length of 2092 km.

Transmission lines using 800 kV EHV technology, allowing smaller transmission losses. Prior to the transmission project of the first Beautiful Mountain Hydropower Station, the DC transmission system in Brazil used 600 kV.

The distribution network spans four states and allows the energy generated by the Beverly Hills Power Station to be transmitted to secondary market load centers in the South East and Midwest.

The Bentley Energy Transmission Company (BMTE) is a special-purpose company developing the project and holds a 51% stake in Brazil's State Grid.
