2030 Kuwait plans to double the power generation to 32,000 megawatts
Kuwait has seven solar batteries power plant, generating about 15,000 megawatts, but according to the Kuwait 2035 plan, designed to 2030 to increase power generation to 32,000 megawatts.
This plan increases the amount of electricity generated by building new lattice and developing alternative and renewable energy sources.
At present, Kuwait is covered by modern power grids, covering overhead lines and underground lines. Due to the geographical location and the extremely hot summer climate, Kuwait is one of the world's largest water and electricity consuming countries.
"Kuwait 2035", the Kuwaiti National Development Program, is the latest grand economic plan aimed at transforming Kuwait into regional financial and cultural centers through 164 strategic development projects, with an effort to increase foreign direct investment by 300 per cent.
